One of the common problems is a misaligned steering. If one direction is harder to turn than the other, you may have jumped a tooth. The good news is that it is fixable. You'll need to start by turning the wheel all the way to one side and then count the total wheel revolutions. Once you have the count, divide it in half to get the rack centered. Adjust the tie rods to straighten it out and realign the front tires. Another solution is to unbolt the steering arm from the rack at the point where the steering shaft meets the steering rack. Then center the rack up and bolt the steering back onto it. Sometimes, adjusting the steering through your machine's computer may also help. We have seen many Can-am Maverick X3's that pulled to the left real bad get plugged into a laptop and become suddenly fixed.
